Anti-wrinkle injections are a simple, effective and safe way to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The procedure
The anti-wrinkle injection is administered through a very small needle directly into the muscles responsible for the wrinkle. Ice is applied before and after the treatment to numb the area, however the procedure is relatively painless and only takes a few minutes. The area treated is usually red for a few minutes and then settles completely.

Following the procedure The anti-wrinkle injection takes effect two to seven days following the procedure and lasts for approximately three to six months.

Restylane Treatments
Restylane filler treatments are used to correct deeper lines around the face and to gently add volume to the lip. The effects can last from six to twelve months.

Other considerations
The most effective areas that can be treated are around the eyes, the frown area and the forehead. Other areas can be treated to varying degrees. It is important for the patient to understand that this procedure will make it difficult to frown, if the frown area is treated. It is important to inform the doctor if you are pregnant, or if you have any neurological diseases or disorders.
